Yes. Baby and child seats are included in your quoted fare at no extra charge. When you book, tell us your child's age and weight and we confirm which seat type we will bring. The seat is fitted and ready when your driver arrives so you are not waiting at the kerb. There is no line item for the seat on your receipt, no deposit, and no surcharge for early morning or late night bookings. The fare you see when you book is the total you pay. If you prefer to bring your own approved child restraint our driver will install it at no charge. Most families in Melbourne pay between $65 and $90 for a baby seat taxi to or from Melbourne Airport depending on which suburb they are in. Yes. Every child restraint we carry meets AS/NZS 1754 and Australian Design Rules — the same standards required for all private vehicles and child restraints sold in Australia. Our drivers are trained in correct installation per the seat manufacturer's guidelines so the seat is fitted properly, not just placed in the vehicle. Yes. We provide child seat-equipped vehicles for pickups and drop-offs at all four Melbourne airports: Melbourne Airport at Tullamarine (all terminals), Avalon Airport, Essendon Fields, and Moorabbin Airport. Flight tracking is included on all arrival bookings, so if your plane is delayed we already know and your driver's schedule adjusts. You also get 30 minutes of free waiting from when the flight lands, which covers most immigration queues and baggage claims. The fare for an airport transfer with a baby seat is the same fixed rate as any other trip. From the CBD it is $65, eastern suburbs run $70 to $75, and further south east it goes up from there. In Victoria, children must be secured in an approved child restraint that suits their age and size for the whole trip. Children under 12 months must use a rear facing seat. Children aged 12 months to under 4 must use a rear or forward facing seat with a harness. Children aged 4 to under 7 must use a forward facing seat with a harness or a booster seat. Taxis are technically exempt from the requirement when no approved restraint is available, but we provide one for every booking so that exemption never applies. There is no extra charge for the seat. We recommend at least two to three hours notice for baby seat requests so we can confirm the right seat type and have it fitted before your pick up. Yes. If you have your own approved child restraint you are welcome to bring it. Our driver will install it correctly when they arrive. They are trained in fitting per AS/NZS 1754 manufacturer guidelines. There is no charge for this.

Every seat is cleaned and sanitised before each booking. We do not share seats between trips without cleaning. Hygiene matters more when you are transporting infants and young children and we treat it accordingly.
