You can book as far ahead as you need. Most customers book airport pickups 24 to 48 hours in advance.

Yes. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including public holidays. Late night and early morning pickups are no problem and we have no minimum booking window overnight.

Yes. When you make your booking you can request a return pickup as part of the same booking. This is common for airport trips where you want both the departure and arrival leg confirmed in advance.

Every trip is priced on distance with the same rates as our fare estimator, so you can check the cost before you travel. Fares are calculated from a $9.90 flag fall plus $2.20 per km ($2.30 Friday to Sunday, $2.34 from 10pm to 4am), with a $39.90 minimum; tolls are extra. This gives an estimated fare; when we call to confirm your booking we can agree a fixed fare before you travel.

A sedan from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) to the CBD is from $65 at the weekday daytime rate, including the $5.26 airport pickup fee. Tolls are extra. The journey takes around 25 to 35 minutes outside peak hour.

The per km rate is $2.20 Monday to Thursday, $2.30 Friday to Sunday, and $2.34 from 10pm to 4am. There is no surge pricing.

The minimum fare for a booked Book Melbourne Taxi trip is $39.90. Short trips within the CBD or inner suburbs will typically fall at or close to this minimum.

For airport pickups we track your flight, and the first 30 minutes after it actually lands are free, for domestic and international arrivals alike. For other pickups the first 10 minutes are free. After that a waiting charge may apply, as set out in our terms.

Yes. Pre-booking your airport pickup is the best way to guarantee a car is waiting when you land. Your driver tracks your flight and adjusts for delays automatically. No standing at a rank with luggage.

Yes. With a meet and greet booking ($25) your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name.

Your driver tracks your flight number in real time, so if it lands late the pickup moves with it at no extra charge, however long the delay. Your 30 minutes of free waiting starts when the plane actually lands.

Yes. We cover both Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) and Avalon Airport. Fares from Avalon are higher given the distance from the city, so please confirm your pickup airport when booking.

We have standard sedans for up to 4 passengers and maxi cabs for groups of up to 10 passengers plus luggage.

Our maxi cabs carry up to 10 passengers comfortably with luggage. They are the right choice for families with a lot of bags, large groups heading to events, or anyone who needs extra space for sports equipment or oversized items.

Yes. For events at the MCG, Rod Laver Arena, Marvel Stadium, or AAMI Park, we recommend booking a maxi cab if your group is 5 or more people.

Yes. Baby seats and booster seats are available on request for $29.90 per seat.

Yes. We provide transport for NDIS participants and can invoice your support coordinator or plan manager directly.

We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, and EFTPOS in the vehicle. For corporate accounts and NDIS bookings, we can arrange invoicing on account. Please confirm your preferred payment method when booking.

Yes. All our vehicles have in-car card payment. Visa, Mastercard, and EFTPOS are all accepted. A small card surcharge may apply depending on the payment terminal used by your driver.

Yes. We offer corporate accounts for businesses and organisations that need regular booked transport.

Yes. Please cancel as early as possible, ideally at least 2 hours before your scheduled pickup.
